The Village Entrepreneur™

Village Entrepreneurship

Launched in December 2023 in Omulunga informal settlement, Grootfontein, this project alleviates youth unemployment through community-driven entrepreneurship. The solar-powered tuck shop creates jobs, generates revenue, and brings needed services to underserved communities.

Pay for Shower Initiative

Pay for Shower Initiative

Partnering with local entrepreneurs to provide clean water access and enhanced sanitation infrastructure in underserved communities. This initiative focuses on reducing disease while promoting the dignity of proper hygiene through sustainable, community-owned water and sanitation solutions.

LMF x Penduka

LMF Penduka Solar Lantern Assembly Training

Training women at Penduka, who run their own social enterprise, to assemble and repair solar lights. The workshop teaches soldering and electronics, giving women skills that last. When a lamp fails, they can fix it locally, keeping homes alight and sustaining livelihoods.
